Since we have so many beta testers, would be cool if you guys could write some tips or somet and post it when RotG about to be released (or now if you don't care )

Something like:

1) What classes can Khitais chose?
2) What's the fastest way to level up AA?
3) Will eg Necros be able to get the Tiger Mount even tho they wont be able to join the Taimarian Tigers faction?

1-still not finalized
2-grinding like everything else in AOC
3-All characters can join all factions regardless of class. There are 10 known factions each one has an enemy. So if u gain renown with faction A you loose it with faction B. A necro can join the tamarin tigers instead of the scholar of cheng ho...but then u couldn't buy the equipment you need from the scholars. You do always have the option of betraying a faction after you reach lvl 4..but tbh its really a pain and much easier if you just stick to a couple of factions that you want stuff from.

1: Khitan character can choose from: Guardian, Dark Templar, Bear Shaman, Assassin, Ranger, Demonologist, Herald of Xotli and Necromancer
2: Yea, grinding - though you need expansion to get AA
3: You can be a member of 5 factions

You can be a member of 5 known faction at the same time and also two hidden ones (they are not opposed to each other).

A question ...I preordered ROTGS on ebay before the launch date, still waiting for it (the retail version with original game and puma pet) ...but yesterday i installed my AOC:Hyborian adv and applied all the patches plus the last one ver 2.01 (this part i dont understand, what is the difference between box copy and the last update 2.01 - ROTGS?) .

My question is ...as my account has been frozen since last year and my box version hasnt arrived yet (with 30 days of gametime) do I must first buy a gamecard for AOC and reactivate my account for AOC:HA then install expansion or...just enter the key that will ship with retail version? Why getting the box copy if they make the expansion as MUST HAVE update, coz it wont let me into the game before downl the 2.01? Then, after 30 days of playing expansion where will i find gamecard? Is the gamecard the same one for AOC:HA and AOC:ROTGS? Help please, I am a returning player.

well, since u bought a box and not a digital copy u will probably have to wait for the box so u can have a look at the key they have provided with it. Then u need to upgrade your account through register.ageofconan.com using the provided key. The account should then be upgraded with the 30 days of play time with it

Ok thnx ...looks simple enough, btw with register you mean log in to my old account, enter the key on the left and update my subscription (coz i downl the 2.01 patch ...which means i obviusly dont need a DVD from the box just the serial, right?) ...why did i bother with the whole box version then if i only need the key?

not entirely sure, but since u bought the game from a third party u will probably get the key from them as well. The key is used to upgrade your old account yes

Well they got me this time and kill my huge will to play this game once again ...as i say, it turned up i have no use of this retail version (which i waited for 10 days and it arrived today ...with my smile turned to a ) What i did is like you told me, i entered the key from the manual to my old account to reactivate it ...and the only thing i got is that this key unlocks puma pet and some level 1 survival Tortage stuff, mostly useless (as they say coz i am still out of the game) (( No 30 days of play period unless I go and spend for on a new gamecard ....hell, more money? This is the most expensive expansion on the planet ...Fuckcom!

I also contacted the tech service and they said ...its on the box under a small *just for new members - 30 days of gametime* ...so i ask is there any way to cancell the puma stuff and get me the key back for a new account ...still waiting for answer:(

dunno where u from and where u bought the game but in norway we have laws that benefits the consumer in cases like this. If ure not happy with the merchandise u have a certain ammount of days to return the product and get refunded the money. Dont know how this works with products bought beyond borders. Think you'll have to check out that. But every shop, online or not should have some sort of refund with products the customer aint happy with.

Your problem on the other hand is that you have activated the key, added it to your account so you have probably rendered the key useless for the shop u bought it from. Dont think i can give u any other advice in this matter than wait for the FC reply. You should also contact the shop u bought it from and hear what policy they have on this kind of things
